EPCOT / Magic Kingdom (Monday)

Today we headed to EPCOT for lunch at Les Chefs de France. WE got a later start then expected due to a downpour, but by the time we arrived at EPCOT, it was a steady, gentle rain that stopped completely while we were at lunch, leaving us with a beautiful, overcast, relatively "cool" day. (mid 70s).

Lunch was delicious, (and peaceful - Geoff slept through the whole meal!) and we had a nice view of the French street performers outside. Plus, Remy, from Ratatouille came by our table.

After lunch, we finished up the things we hadn't seen yet with Danny at EPCOT: Journey into Imagination, Living with the Land, and Finding Nemo and the aquarium.

WE took the monorail over to Magic Kingdom and headed to Tomorrowland. We got Space Mountain fast passes, and then did Stitch's Great Escape. We did the People Mover, and then rode Buzz Lightyear. Next, we used our Space Mountain fast passes while Bobby and Geoff went on the People Mover again. Geoff fell asleep towards the end and got in another nap.

Fantasyland was next. Grant, Mom, Bobby, and Danny went to see Mickey's Philharmagic while Geoff finished his nap. Then Danny, Geoff, Grant and I rode the Flying Dumbos together. Danny left at this point to go back to the treehouse and watch the baseball game. The rest of us stayed and rode the carousel,  Snow White, and The Haunted Mansion before watching the fireworks.

WE waited a bit for the crowds to subside before exiting the park. The monorail line was super long, so we took the boat to the TTA instead. The queue for the boat was awful - there were about a million gnats swarming to the lights. I had never seen anything like it. It was awful waiting for the boat - the gnats were everywhere! They flew all over - everyone was waving there arms and keeping their mouth shut. Even now, I can feel them flying in and bouncing off of me. Yuck.

Anyway - the wait wasn't bad - we got on the boat pretty quickly, thank goodness. There was a family close by with two wheel chairs, and a young boy was pushing one of the wheelchairs, so we helped him get the chair on and off the boat because the dock was uneven and partly uphill.

The monorail to EPCOT was empty and we were to our car before we knew it. We ordered pizza and it was delivered to our treehouse shortly after we arrived.

On our first night in WDW, I noticed that the moon was just a tiny sliver - like a clipped fingernail. Now, it is a full moon. Wild.
