Grant and I took the trolly to Old Town today. I had never been, and it was really cool! Its like this old San Diego town with general stores, candle shops, the first San Diego school, a ranch house, stables, and all sorts of histroial buildings.
We went to a mexican place for lunch, and then walked around old town, did a little shopping and looking at the museums. It was neat!
Next, we took to the trolly to Seaport village, which is likie a pier side place with shops, food places, and arcades geared towards the cruise ship crowds. We walked along the bay past the cruis ship terminal and past all of the old boats, and then walked back to our hotel.
Last night, we went to the Lawrence Welk resort for the dinner/show package. We had a buffet dinner, and then saw Andrew Lloys Weber's Evita!!! I have never seen Evita on stage so that was way cool! The guy who played Che was fantastic!
We stopped by Walmart to pick up a few things and then got back to our hotel around 11:30.
